The Korenmolen-Mill has undergone an impressive transformation. It was on the verge of collapse, but has been fully restored. First the house was tackled, but now in 2024 there is also a new goal: generating energy, sufficient to meet the energy needs of four families. The works took six months to complete.

Nothing was left of the original water wheel and due to the changed water levels, it was necessary to rethink and develop the entire water wheel, technically and hydraulically appropriate to the current situation

The preservation of our cultural heritage is an important aspect of historic watermills. This was also taken into account when developing the new CorTen steel water wheel, As it is completely designed in an industrial style with Hot rivets.
